104TH GREY CUP PLAYOFF SCENARIOS - WEEK 17

Montreal Loss + Toronto Loss = Edmonton clinches a Playoff Berth

Ottawa Win + Losses by Montreal AND Toronto = Ottawa clinches a Playoff Berth and a home playoff date.

Hamilton Win + Losses by Montreal AND Toronto = Hamilton clinches a Playoff Berth and a home playoff date via a tie-breaker based on record among games played against potentially tied clubs

CLINCHED:

Calgary has clinched first place in the West Division and will host the Western Final.

BC and Winnipeg have clinched Playoff Berths

NOTE:

All four East Division clubs can still make the playoffs and finish anywhere from 1st to 4th.

With a Montreal and a Toronto loss a West Division team will cross-over into the East Division. This would be the ninth time in 21 years since the cross-over rule was created in 1996, all being West to East.

No East Division team can be eliminated this week even with a loss.

Second place in the West Division and the Western Semi-Final home playoff game cannot be settled in Week 17. BC, Winnipeg and Edmonton can still host the game.

Saskatchewan has been eliminated from playoff contention.
