104TH GREY CUP PLAYOFF SCENARIOS - WEEK 18

TORONTO (October 17, 2016) – Below are Week 18 playoff scenarios in the CFL:

Hamilton Win = Hamilton clinches playoff berth and a home playoff date.

Ottawa Win = Ottawa clinches East Division and will host the Eastern Final.

Losses by Toronto AND Montreal = Hamilton clinches playoff berth and a home playoff date.

CLINCHED:

Calgary has clinched first place in the West Division and will host the Western Final.

Ottawa has clinched a playoff berth and a home playoff date.

BC, Winnipeg and Edmonton have clinched playoff berths.

NOTE:

All East Division teams remain in playoff contention entering Week 18.

If Montreal loses or Hamilton wins, Montreal is eliminated from playoff contention.

If Toronto loses or Hamilton wins, Toronto is eliminated from playoff contention.

West to East crossover is assured: either Edmonton, BC and Winnipeg will be the visiting team in the Eastern Semi-Final.

Winnipeg, BC and Edmonton remain in contention to host the Western Semi-Final.

Edmonton (3-1), Winnipeg (3-2) hold the advantage over BC (0-3) based on their record in the event of a three-way tie.
