105TH GREY CUP PLAYOFF SCENARIOS - WEEK 18

TORONTO (October 15, 2017) - Below are the 105th Grey Cup playoff scenarios for Week 18:

WEST DIVISION

• Calgary win OR Winnipeg loss = Calgary clinches first place in division and hosts Western Final on November 19
• Winnipeg win OR Edmonton loss = Winnipeg clinches home playoff date
• Saskatchewan win OR BC loss = Saskatchewan clinches at least a crossover playoff spot AND BC eliminated from Grey Cup Playoffs

EAST DIVISION

• There are no scenarios specific to Week 18 that can decide anything in the division

CLINCHED

• Calgary Stampeders, Ottawa REDBLACKS and Toronto Argonauts have clinched a playoff berth and a home playoff date
• Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Edmonton Eskimos have clinched a playoff berth

NOTES

• Calgary has secured a home playoff date for the sixth consecutive year
• Ottawa REDBLACKS have secured a home playoff date for the third consecutive season
• Winnipeg Blue Bombers have clinched a playoff berth for the second season in a row and looking to host their first playoff game since 2011.
• Toronto Argonauts will host a playoff game for the first time since 2013. Toronto can secure first place with wins in their final two games of the season.
• Edmonton Eskimos secured their fourth straight season in the Grey Cup Playoffs and may still host the Western Semi-Final
• This marks the 10th time a crossover has occurred. The crossover rule was implemented in 1996
• BC must win their remaining games and have Saskatchwean lose all three of theirs in order to extend their active playoff run beyond 20 years, the second longest streak in CFL history
