106TH GREY CUP PRESENTED BY SHAW RECAP: FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd

Friday, November 23, 2018 — (EDMONTON) – Commissioner Randy Ambrosie addressed the media with remarks on the national and international state of the game today in his State of the League address. He also signed a letter of intent with Mexico’s Liga de Futbol Americano Profesional (LFA) live onstage. A transcription is attached below.

The CFL, the Ending Violence Association of Canada, Status of Women Canada and the United Steelworkers announced a “Be More Than A Bystander” campaign today.

“Flight School”, the team representing Montreal won the CFL NFL Flag Football Championship after defeating Hamilton (“The Hammer”) 30 - 0 in the final. They finished the day 6-0 after scoring an impressive 150 points and giving up only 40 over the course of the day. Flight School qualified for the CFL NFL championships by winning the Montreal Regional Tournament that took place in October. They will now represent the CFL NFL Flag program when they travel to Orlando, FL to compete in the NFL FLAG Championships.
