107th GREY CUP PLAYOFF SCENARIOS – WEEK 15
TORONTO (September 18, 2019) – Below are the 107th Grey Cup playoff scenarios for Week 15:
EAST DIVISION
Hamilton Win OR Tie OR Ottawa Loss OR Tie = Hamilton clinches a playoff spot
WEST DIVISION
Calgary Win AND Ottawa Loss = Calgary and Winnipeg clinch a playoff spot
Winnipeg Win AND Ottawa Loss = Winnipeg clinches a playoff spot
NOTE:
Toronto and Ottawa losses this week would result in three teams with 10 defeats (with BC). Therefore, any club with nine wins would be among the Top-6 and will earn a playoff berth either in their own Division or via a West crossover into the third spot in the East.
However should they lose, Toronto and Ottawa can still finish in second in the East Division.
CROSSOVER RULE:
If the fourth-place team in division A has more points, not tied, than the third-place team in division B, the fourth-place team will cross over to division B, replace the third place team in division A, and compete against the second-place team of that division.
