NOTES

Mark Chapman became the first receiver to go first overall since 2007 when Hamilton selected Chris Bauman. Since 1980 only four receivers have been selected first overall.

Trey Rutherford of Connecticut, who was drafted second overall, was the first UConn player selected in the first round since Alex Mateas was chosen first overall in 2015.

With the selection of OL Ryan Sceviour, the Calgary Dinos have produced 14 first round selections since 2003 - the most in that time. Two Calgary players were taken in the first round; the last time multiple players from the same school were chosen in the first round was in 2016 when Laval had three players selected.

This year also set a record for the most offensive linemen taken in the first round with seven. The previous record was six, set in 2015.

Six players from Ontario and two from Alberta were chosen in the first round.
