2019 CANADIAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE KEY DATES

Free Agency opens February 12, followed by Regional Combines beginning in March and National Combine in Toronto

FEBRUARY 12 – FREE AGENCY OPENS

Teams will be able to sign free agents beginning at noon ET.

MARCH 11 – WESTERN REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY NEW ERA IN EDMONTON, AB

The Western Regional Combine will take place at Commonwealth Stadium Field House in Edmonton. The schedule and roster for combine testing will be announced closer to the date.

MARCH 13 – EASTERN REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY NEW ERA IN MONTREAL, QC

The Eastern Regional Combine will take place at Scitec Sports Dome in Baie-D’Urfé near Montreal. The schedule and roster for combine testing will be announced closer to the date.

MARCH 20 - 22 – RULES COMMITTEE & FOOTBALL OPERATIONS COMMITTEE MEETINGS

These meetings will be held in Toronto, Ontario.

MARCH 21 – ONTARIO REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY NEW ERA IN TORONTO, ON

The Ontario Regional Combine will take place at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport and the Varsity Centre at the University of Toronto in Toronto. The schedule for combine testing will be announced closer to the date.

MARCH 22 - 24 – NATIONAL CFL COMBINE PRESENTED BY NEW ERA IN TORONTO, ON

In preparation for the 2019 CFL Draft the league's general managers, coaches and scouts will be in Toronto, Ontario to evaluate more than fifty of the country's top football prospects.

The 2019 National CFL Combine presented by New Era will be held at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport and the Varsity Centre at the University of Toronto. The schedule and roster for combine testing will be announced closer to the date.

APRIL 30 – CFL ROSTERS REDUCED TO 75

MAY 26 – PRESEASON BEGINS

JUNE 8 – TEAMS MUST CUT DOWN FROM TRAINING CAMP ROSTER BY 10:00 P.M. ET

JUNE 13 – CFL REGULAR SEASON KICKOFF

2019 CFL Season opener has Saskatchewan Roughriders taking on the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Tim Hortons Field at 7:30 p.m. ET

SEPTEMBER 1 – 30 DAY PRACTICE ROSTER EXPANSION MAY COMMENCE

OCTOBER 9 – TRADE DEADLINE 3:59 P.M. ET

NOVEMBER 10 – EASTERN AND WESTERN SEMI-FINAL

NOVEMBER 17 – EASTERN AND WESTERN FINAL

NOVEMBER 24 – 107TH GREY CUP PRESENTED BY SHAW IN CALGARY, AB
