BT SPORT TO BROADCAST CFL GAMES IN U.K. AND IRELAND
TORONTO (June 23, 2016) - Sports fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland will have the opportunity to watch Canadian Football League (CFL) action live on television for the second consecutive season, the CFL announced today.
BT Sport will broadcast CFL games live starting with the season opener at BMO Field between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Toronto Argonauts on Thursday, June 23. BT Sport will carry all four games in Week 1 of the CFL’s 2016 season. In addition, BT Sport will also broadcast CFL games on delay.
BT Sport is available to more than 5 million homes across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Today's news follows a multi-territory agreement between the CFL and ESPN Inc.
Below is the CFL schedule through August across BT Sport. The remaining CFL schedule will be announced at a later date. (Note: as with all TV schedules, BT Sport TV listings run from 06:00 to 06:00).
