CANADIAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2016 KEY DATES

Rookie camps open May 25th followed by the opening of training camps on May 29th

March 7 – 10      2016 CFL REGIONAL COMBINES EDMONTON/MONTREAL/TORONTO

The regional combines will take place at:

Commonwealth Stadium Field House – Edmonton, Alberta – March 7
Concordia University Stadium (Loyola Campus) – Montreal, Quebec – March 9
Varsity Centre/Park Hyatt Toronto Hotel – Toronto, Ontario – March 10

The one-day invitational combines are for players eligible for the 2016 CFL Draft and national free agents. The top players eligible for the 2016 CFL Draft from each regional combine will receive an invitation to attend the CFL National Combine in Toronto from March 11 to 13. Approximately 40 players will be invited to each regional combine.

The lists of participants will be communicated in advance of each event.

March 9 - 10       RULES COMMITTEE AND COMPETITION COMMITTEE MEETINGS

The meetings will be held over two days at the Park Hyatt Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Ontario.

March 11 – 13    2016 CFL NATIONAL COMBINE  

In preparation for the 2016 CFL Draft, the league's general managers, coaches and scouts will be in Toronto, Ontario to evaluate over 50 of the country's top football prospects. The 2016 CFL Combine will be held at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport as well as at the Varsity Centre at the University of Toronto.

The list of participants will be communicated in advance of the event.

April 3 - 5               CFL CONGRESS 2016

CFL Congress 2016 is being held in Toronto, Ontario. The three days of annual meetings will take place at the Hilton Toronto.

May 10 - 14         CIS EAST-WEST BOWL

May 10                2016 CFL DRAFT                 

May 25                ROOKIE CAMPS OPEN
