CFL COMBINE WEEK SCHEDULE

Combine Week begins March 7 in lead up to the National CFL Combine presented by adidas, March 11-13

Less than a week until the top football prospects in Canada will be participating in CFL scouting combines across the country. These players will be put to the test in front of coaches, general managers and scouts from every CFL team.

Players attending the National CFL Combine presented by adidas in Toronto include the top prospects eligible for the 2016 CFL Draft.

Media are welcome to attend all four combines. Below are specific details for each event.

Monday, March 7 - Regional CFL Combine in Edmonton
Commonwealth Stadium Field House

8:00 a.m.                    Player registration

8:30 a.m.                    Height & weight, hand & arm measurements, video shot, vertical jump, broad jump, and bench press (225 lbs.)

10:30 a.m.                  40-yard dash, short shuttle, 3-cone drill

1:00 p.m.                    Positional drills and one on one's

                                                1:00 p.m. – OL/DL drills

                                                1:30 p.m. – QB/RB/LB drills

                                                2:15 p.m. – WR/DB drills

                                                3:05 p.m. – Long snappers/punters/kickers

3:20 p.m.                     Announcement of players invited to National CFL Combine

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.

Wednesday, March 9 - Regional Combine in Montreal
Concordia University Stadium (Loyola Campus)

8:00 a.m.                     Player registration

8:30 a.m.                     Height & weight, hand & arm measurements, video shot, vertical jump, and bench press           (225 lbs.)

10:00 a.m.                   Broad jump, 40-yard dash, short shuttle and 3-cone drill

1:00 p.m.                     Positional drills & one on one's

                                                1:00 p.m. – OL/DL drills

                                                1:30 p.m. – QB/RB/LB drills

                                                2:15 p.m. – WR/DB drills

                                                3:05 p.m. – Long snappers/punters/kickers

3:15 p.m.                       Announcement of players invited to National CFL Combine

12:35 p.m.                   Warm up at Varsity Centre bubble

12:50 p.m.                   40-yard dash, short shuttle, 3-cone drill and broad jump

2:30 p.m.                     Positional drills & one on one's

                                                2:30 p.m. – OL/DL drills

                                                2:55 p.m. – RB/LB drills

                                                3:35 p.m. – WR/DB drills

                                                4:25 p.m. – Long snappers/punters/kickers

4:40 p.m.                    Announcement of players invited to National CFL Combine

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.

9:00 a.m.                 Height, Weight Measurements and Video Shot

10:30 a.m                 Vertical Jump and Bench Press 
                                 Order: DB, WR, LB, RB, K, DL, and OL

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.

Sunday, March 13
Varsity Centre Bubble

40-yard dash, short shuttle 3-cone, Individual drills and One-on-Ones 

8:00 a.m.        Offensive and defensive linemen

9:40 a.m.        Long Snappers and kickers workout

10:00 a.m.     Running backs, linebackers and kickers

11:50 a.m.     Wide Receivers and defensive backs

2:30pm          Combine Completed

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.

The 2016 National CFL Combine presented by adidas will have unprecedented live coverage of the marquee events; Bench Press and 40-Yard Dash. Both of these events will be broadcasted live with commentary from Don Landry and Justin Dunk, alongside guest general managers and coaches providing instant analysis.

Live results from each drill will be posted on CFL.ca from all three CFL Regional Combines as well as the National CFL Combine.

Throughout the weekend, CFL.ca Insider Justin Dunk will provide full coverage and analysis from the National CFL Combine in Toronto.
