Detailed schedules for CFL Combine presented by adidas

TORONTO — Canadian Football League (CFL) prospects will vie for their final opportunity to be invited to the CFL Combine presented by adidas starting this Friday in Montreal. It will be the fifth consecutive year that the CFL will host a trio of regional combines ahead of the CFL Combine. Following the Eastern Regional Combine in Montreal, Toronto will host the Ontario Regional Combine on March 17 and Regina will host the Western Regional Combine on March 23.

The CFL Combine presented by adidas will take place in Regina as part of the Mark’s CFL Week festivities with the top prospects testing and competing in front of CFL coaches, general managers and player personnel between March 23 and 25.

Players attending the CFL Combine presented by adidas in Regina include the top prospects eligible for the 2017 CFL Draft.

Media are welcome to attend all four combines. Below are specific details for each event.

Friday, March 10 – Eastern Regional Combine presented by adidas (Montreal)
Concordia University Stadium (Loyola Campus)

Order of testing: OL, DL, RB, LB, QB, K, WR, DB

8:00 a.m.                    Player registration

8:30 a.m.                    Height & weight, hand & arm measurements, video shot, vertical jump, broad jump, and bench press (225 lbs.)

10:00 a.m.                  40-yard dash, short shuttle, 3-cone drill

1:00 p.m.                    Positional drills and one-on-ones

                                                1:00 p.m. – OL/DL drills

                                                1:30 p.m. – QB/RB/LB drills

                                                2:15 p.m. – WR/DB drills

                                                3:05 p.m. – Long snappers/punters/kickers

3:15 p.m.                     Announcement of players invited to CFL Combine presented by adidas

12:35 p.m.                   Warm up at Varsity Centre bubble

12:50 p.m.                   40-yard dash, short shuttle, 3-cone drill and broad jump

2:30 p.m.                     Positional drills & one-on-ones

                                                2:30 p.m. – OL/DL drills

                                                2:55 p.m. – RB/LB drills

                                                3:35 p.m. – WR/DB drills

                                                4:25 p.m. – Long snappers/punters/kickers

4:40 p.m.                    Announcement of players invited to CFL Combine presented by adidas

Players will be made available by request after the completion of morning testing.

7:00 p.m.                   Bench Press

Order of testing: WR, DB, RB, LB, QB, DL, OL

Players will be made available by request after the completion of evening testing.

Saturday, March 25

Order of testing: OL, DL, RB, LB, QB, WR, DB

9:00 a.m.          40-yard dash, short shuttle and 3-cone

12:00 p.m.       Offensive and defensive linemen individual drills and one-on-ones

12:45 p.m.       Running backs, linebackers and quarterbacks individual drills and one-on-ones

1:45 p.m.         Receivers and defensive backs individual drills and one-on-ones

2:45 p.m.         Long snappers and kickers workout

3:00 p.m.         Combine completed

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.
