Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club, Thaddeus Coleman, Josiah St. John and Jabari Hunt fined following Week 6

TORONTO (August 3, 2016) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today:

The Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club was fined $15,000 for an in-game roster violation related to deployment of international players in their game played on July 16, 2016 versus the BC Lions.

Saskatchewan Roughrider Thaddeus Coleman was fined for a dangerous block on Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman Aaron Lavarias.

Saskatchewan Roughrider Josiah St. John was fined for a chop block on Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman Vaughn Martin.

Edmonton Eskimo Jabari Hunt was fined for a low hit to Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Matt Nichols.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
