CFL ON TSN TO DELIVER EXCLUSIVE LIVE AT-HOME COVERAGE OF 2020 CFL DRAFT

TSN’s Farhan Lalji to announce selections beginning with No. 1 overall by Calgary

CFL.ca to provide additional coverage with CFL host Brodie Lawson and Marshall Ferguson

TORONTO (April 28, 2020) – Dreams will come true for Canadian football’s top prospects on Thursday, April 30 beginning at 8 p.m. ET as TSN provides live remote coverage of the 2020 CFL Draft. Before the event kicks off, CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie will deliver a special message to football fans across the country. All selections will be announced by TSN’s Farhan Lalji from his at-home studio, starting with the No. 1 overall pick by the Calgary Stampeders.

Lalji will be joined by the CFL ON TSN panel, including CFL Insider Dave Naylor and analysts Duane Forde and Davis Sanchez, all contributing from their homes across the country. Through detailed analysis and player profiles, the panel will break down each draft selection and feature reports and interviews from around the league.

In the days leading up to the draft, the CFL ON TSN will provide league updates, player spotlights on SPORTSCENTRE and late-breaking news on TSN.ca. In addition, live draft day coverage on TSN.ca will include a real-time, pick-by-pick draft tracker and instant video analysis from TSN’s CFL Draft panel.

TSN Radio stations across the country will provide coverage of local teams throughout the week, as well as, reactions to each team’s selections following the draft. BarDown.com will recap the biggest trending moments of the CFL Draft.

Following the TSN broadcast, CFL.ca will cover the remaining rounds of the draft with CFL host Brodie Lawson and CFL.ca columnist, draft insider and TSN Radio host Marshall Ferguson. The live show will include the latest picks, in-depth analysis and interviews with a number of the newly-drafted players. RDS will air a draft recap special on May 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
