“None of this has really sunk in yet. At first I thought it was a joke when I was approached by staff coming into the stadium, but soon realized I just won a trip of a lifetime. Being a single dad with two kids, the Grey Cup has always just been a TV thing. It’s always been a dream of mine to watch a Grey Cup game live, and now I’ll get to do that for the first time in my life. This is all pretty incredible.”
