EASTERN REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY NEW ERA TAKES PLACE WEDNESDAY IN MONTREAL

The second of three Regional Combines takes place at Scitec Sports Dome in Baie-D’Urfé; CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie will be available to the media from 10am to 10:30am

TORONTO (March 12, 2019) – Tomorrow more Canadian Football League (CFL) prospects for the 2019 CFL Draft will have their final opportunity to receive an invite to the CFL Combine presented by New Era.

Two days after Monday's Western Regional Combine in Edmonton, Montreal is hosting the Eastern Regional Combine on March 13th ahead of the Ontario Regional Combine, which will take place in Toronto on March 21st. This marks the seventh consecutive year that the CFL has hosted a trio of Regional Combines ahead of the CFL Combine in Toronto.

Three players from the Western Regional Combine were invited to the National Combine yesterday in Edmonton.

The CFL Combine presented by New Era will take place in Toronto from March 22 – 24. This is where the top prospects will test and compete in front of CFL coaches, general manager and player personnel in advance to the May 2, 2019 CFL Draft.

Also on Wednesday, CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie will be in Baie-D'Urfé to meet with media from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

A period for one-on-one interviews with Commissioner Ambrosie is also scheduled in downtown Montreal from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Interested media must contact Olivier Poulin at [email protected] to RSVP.

Order of testing: OL, DL, RB, LB, QB, K, WR, DB

9:30 a.m.                    Begin Circuit: Video shot, height & weight, hand & arm measurements, vertical jump, broad jump and bench press (225 lbs)

11:30 a.m.                 40-yard dash, short shuttle, 3-cone drill

2:00 p.m.                   Positional drills and one-on-ones

4:20 p.m.                   Announcement of players invited to CFL Combine presented by New Era

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.
