FOOTBALL CANADA UNVEILS NEW LOGO

ON BEHALF OF FOOTBALL CANADA

Football Canada has a refreshed look as the national governing body of amateur football unveiled its new logo today.

The new logo brings Football Canada into the digital age with a cleaner, updated version of the organization’s traditional design.

The brand was designed by Football Canada board member Jim Mullin in consultation with the organization's marketing committee.

Meaning behind the design

  • Three layers of the leaf represent the local, provincial and national levels
  • The five laces on the ball represent the five pillars of the brand; development, inclusiveness, safety, events and Canadian
  • The base is an arc rather than a straight line to mimic the flight of a football as well as the distance the between any two points across the country which are connected through football
