103RD GREY CUP TEAM ARRIVALS

Media invited to cover the arrival of the Edmonton Eskimos and Ottawa REDBLACKS at the Winnipeg airport on Tuesday evening

WINNIPEG – For the fourth time in league history, Edmonton and Ottawa will meet in the CFL’s championship game. The previous Grey Cup appearances against each other were in 1960, 1973 and 1981 with Ottawa winning two of the three championship games.

Media are welcome to attend the arrival of both teams as they touch down in Winnipeg on Tuesday night. There will be a photo-opportunity as players walk onto the tarmac, and a media scrum will take place inside the airport lounge with both Head Coaches and select players.

Arrival Details:

  • The Ottawa REDBLACKS will arrive at the Kelly Western Jet Centre on Tuesday November 24, on charter flight #9020 at approximately 4:45pm CT.
  • The Edmonton Eskimos will arrive at the Kelly Western Jet Centre on Tuesday November 24, on charter flight #9070 at approximately 5:00pm CT.

Note: The Kelly Western Jet Centre is located at the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.

Due to security requirements at the airport, media are requested to RSVP their attendance. Please email Lucas Barrett ([email protected]) before noon CT on Tuesday November 24 to ensure proper permission is granted by the airport.

The 103rd Grey Cup presented by Shaw featuring the Ottawa REDBLACKS and Edmonton Eskimos will be played on Sunday, November 29 at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg.
 
Edmonton Eskimos will be the home team in the 103rd Grey Cup presented by Shaw. They will wear their home team (dark) jerseys and will use the home team’s locker room at Investors Group Field. Ottawa REDBLACKS will be the visitors, wearing their away (light) jerseys; they will use the University of Manitoba Bisons’ locker room at Investors Group Field.
