#MARKSCFLWEEK BUZZ: CELEBRATING THE FUTURE OF FOOTBALL

Thursday, March 22, 2018 (WINNIPEG) -- Over 160 local kids took to the Football Frenzy Field at RBC Convention Centre this morning for the Jumpstart Games with some of the top CFL players to learn valuable skills in football and teamwork. Jumpstart is a national charity that helps children from financially disadvantaged families in Canada participate in organized sport and physical activity by covering the costs of registration, equipment and/or transportation.

An autograph session with the newly-announced Canadian Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018 has just begun at the #MarksCFLWeek Fan Fest at the RBC Convention Centre. Paul Brûlé, Frank Cosentino, Scott Flory, the late Tom Hugo, Hank Ilesic, Brent Johnson and Barron Miles will join the ranks of Canadian football legends recognized for their outstanding contributions to the game at a special ceremony on September 14th at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton.

The Western Regional Combine presented by adidas is just wrapping up at Subway Soccer South; results can be seen here, and those prospects moving on to the National Combine presented by adidas will be announced shortly.

More events are happening throughout the evening at #MarksCFLWeek Fan Fest, and Media Day continues tomorrow with another packed day of interviews.
