MEDIA ACCREDITATION OPEN: 111TH GREY CUP AND 2024 GREY CUP FESTIVAL

Application deadline: October 18; Media hotel reservation deadline: October 9

TORONTO (September 18, 2024) – The Canadian Football League (CFL) is now accepting applications for media accreditation for the 111th Grey Cup and the 2024 Grey Cup Festival.

The championship will be played at BC Place in Vancouver on Sunday, November 17 with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. ET. The 2024 Grey Cup Festival opens on Sunday, November 10. Additional information regarding the 2024 Grey Cup Festival, including event details, dates and more, is available here.

Media must apply via the Grey Cup Accreditation Portal prior to the deadline of Friday, October 18 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

IMPORTANT NOTICES

  • Individuals applying on behalf of a group must email Olivier Poulin at opoulin@cfl.ca before beginning the application process.
  • Individuals awaiting formal internal approval to cover the Grey Cup and/or the Grey Cup Festival must adhere to the deadline and apply regardless.
  • The application process includes a question for those whose attendance is based on a particular team competing in the Grey Cup.

  • Sunday, November 10 – Grey Cup Arrival
  • Monday, November 11 – Team Arrivals
  • Tuesday, November 12 – Head Coaches’ Conference, Media State of the League address, Player availabilities
  • Wednesday, November 13 – Media Day, Practices, CFL Awards nominees availability
  • Thursday, November 14 – Practices, Coach and player availabilities, CFL Awards
  • Friday, November 15 – Closed practice, Coach and player availabilities (quarterbacks excused)
  • Saturday, November 16 – Walkthrough practices, Coach and player availabilities
  • Sunday, November 17 – 111th Grey Cup

MEDIA HOTEL

On behalf of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), a block of hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown is available for members of the media. Booking information can be found in the media accreditation application process.

Reservations must be received by October 9.

FRC HALL OF FAME INDUCTION BRUNCH

The FRC will host its annual Hall of Fame induction brunch on Sunday, November 17 in the Columbia Ballroom of the Vancouver Holiday Inn Downtown.

The event begins at 9 a.m. PT and is free to all paid-up FRC members and their guests. The media wing of the CFHOF will welcome two new members:

  • Steve Daniel, Vice-President of Football Analytics, CFL
  • Farhan Lalji, reporter, TSN
