MEDIA ACCREDITATION OPEN: 112TH GREY CUP AND 2025 GREY CUP FESTIVAL

Application deadline and media hotel reservation deadline: October 6

TORONTO (September 8, 2025) – The Canadian Football League (CFL) is now accepting applications for media credentials to cover the 112th Grey Cup and the 2025 Grey Cup Festival.

The championship will be played at the Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg on Sunday, November 16 with kickoff slated for 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT. The 2025 Grey Cup Festival opens on Sunday, November 9. Media must apply via the Grey Cup Accreditation Portal prior to the deadline of Monday, October 6 at 5 p.m. ET.

IMPORTANT NOTICES

  • Individuals applying on behalf of a group must email Herb Fung at hfung@cfl.ca before beginning the application process.
  • Individuals awaiting formal internal approval to cover the Grey Cup and/or the Grey Cup Festival MUST adhere to the deadline and apply regardless.
  • The application process includes a question for those whose attendance is based on a particular team competing in the Grey Cup.

  • Sunday, November 9 – Grey Cup Arrival
  • Monday, November 10 – Team Arrivals
  • Tuesday, November 11 – Head Coaches’ Conference, CFLPA State of the Union, Optional practices, Player availabilities
  • Wednesday, November 12 – Media Day, Practices, CFL Awards nominees availability
  • Thursday, November 13 – Practices, Coach and player availabilities, CFL Awards
  • Friday, November 14 – Media State of the League, Practices, Coach and player availabilities (quarterbacks excused)
  • Saturday, November 15 – East/West Walkthroughs, Coach and player availabilities
  • Sunday, November 16 – 112th Grey Cup

The schedule of events is subject to change. A finalized media schedule will be released at a later date.

MEDIA HOTEL

On behalf of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), a block of hotel rooms at the Hyatt House Winnipeg-South/Outlet Collection is available for members of the media. Booking information can be found in the media accreditation application process.

Reservations MUST be received by October 6.

FRC HALL OF FAME INDUCTION BRUNCH

The FRC will host its annual Hall of Fame Induction Brunch on Sunday, November 16 in Ballroom A&B of the Hyatt House Winnipeg-South/Outlet Collection.

The event is free to all paid-up FRC members and their guests. The media wing of the CFHOF will welcome two new members this year: journalists Paul Friesen and Judy Owen.
