MEDIA ADVISORY: 2021 CFL DRAFT PROSPECT DESHAWN STEVENS TO SPEAK TO MEDIA ON FRIDAY

TORONTO (April 29, 2021) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) will be holding a media availability with football prospect from the University of Maine, Deshawn Stevens on Friday.

Deshawn Stevens Notes:

  • During the 2021 spring season, Deshawn Stevens was named to the All-CAA First team.
  • In the four games in the spring season, Stevens racked up 36 tackles (13 solo, 23 assisted)
  • Recently, Stevens has put his name in the NCAA transfer portal.
  • Stevens in his collegiate career with the Maine Black Bears accumulated 164 tackles (69 solo, 95 assisted), notching 16 tackles for a loss and 9.5 sacks.
  • Stevens was also ranked in the Scouting Bureau Top-20 list, earlier this week.
