MEDIA ADVISORY: CANADIAN FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME VIP RECEPTION SCHEDULE

Media room opens at 4:30 p.m. CST, Dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. CST

 

WINNIPEG  (March 21, 2018) –  Tonight, media are invited to attend a VIP reception to announce the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum’s Class of 2018, held at the Pinnacle Club at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg. The event will honour legendary CFL players, as well as builders and those who have contributed to the growth of the game.

Below is a schedule of events for this evening:

4:30 p.m. CST - Media work room (Chariman's Lounge at Pinnacle Club) will open
5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. CST - Dinner will be served 
5:45 p.m. CST  - Inductees will come to the Chairman's Lounge to speak with media
7:00 p.m. CST - Doors open to the public
7:30 p.m. CST - The event begins
7:40 p.m. CST - 2018 CFHOF Class announced
9:00 p.m. CST - Media room closed

Media are asked to enter through the Pinnacle Club entrance located on the East Side of the stadium. Media can park in the U-Lot located at the south end of the stadium. A map of the stadium is attached below.

A media room will be open in the Chairman’s Lounge at 4:30 p.m. CST and media will be provided with an embargoed copy of the press release, as well as a media availability with each inductee and photos in advance of the announcement.

Doors open to the event at 7:00 p.m. CST and the Class of 2018 will be announced at approximately 7:40 p.m. CST, at which time media will be permitted to publicize information. A light dinner will be served.

The event will be hosted by TSN on CFL’s Rod Smith, and media will be permitted to film b-roll and conduct photography throughout the event.

The announcement will be streamed live on TSN from 7:30 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. CST for fans who want to tune in across the country.
