MEDIA ADVISORY: CFL PROSPECT JAKE BURT TO SPEAK TO MEDIA ON MONDAY
Former Boston College and New England Patriots tight end to hold a media availability on May 3 at 10:30 a.m. ET
TORONTO (April 30, 2021) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) will be holding a media availability with football prospect who played collegiately with Boston College and was on the New England Patriots practice roster for the 2020 season, Jake Burt on Monday.
Jake Burt Notes:
- Burt was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and was raised there until he was four years old. His family ended up moving to Boston.
- He attended St. John’s Prep (Danvers) and during his senior season earned ESPN Boston All-State honors, along with being named to the Boston Herald’s “Dandy Dozen”.
- In High School, Burt was a three sport-captain in high school (basketball, volleyball, football).
- He went on to play for Boston College Eagles, appearing in 36 games, registering 23 receptions for 307 yards and two touchdowns.
- Following his collegiate career, Burt signed an undrafted free agent deal with the New England Patriots where he made the practice roster and spent the entire 2020 season on.
