MEDIA ADVISORY: SHAW CFL AWARDS

FANS CAN BUY TICKETS TO THE SHOW OR WATCH THE WINNERS ANNOUNCED ONLINE

OTTAWA –  Media are invited to attend the Shaw CFL Awards and Rev-Up Party tomorrow on Thursday, November 23rd at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa in the Canada Hall, hosted by TSN’s James Duthie. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. ET, the Red Carpet will be live-streamed on the CFL’s Facebook page at 7:00 pm ET, and the show gets underway at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Doors to the media lockdown room will be opened at 6:30 p.m. At that time, media will be provided with the results under an embargo. Media will be prohibited from publicizing any information until after each award presentation has been announced. After each award, the winning player will be made available to the media in the lockdown room. A light dinner will be served.

The show will also be streamed live on the CFL’s Facebook page for fans who want to watch from across the country.

A limited number of tickets remain for the Shaw CFL Awards Show and Rev-Up Party.

The Shaw CFL Awards will honour this season’s top players and pay tribute to Canadian football legends and leaders in the community. The Shaw CFL Awards include six categories, and are decided by 89 voters from the Football Reporters of Canada and head coaches from across the league.
