MEDIA CONFERENCE CALLS FOR BOTH MARK’S LABOUR DAY GAMES

CFL will host two conference calls for media on Thursday for the Edmonton at Calgary game and Toronto at Hamilton game

TORONTO (August 28, 2018) – Players from the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be made available at 2:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 30, 2018. On the same day at 4:15 p.m. ET, players from the Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders will also be made available to the media on a nationwide conference call.

The CFL gets its first taste of the Battle of Alberta on Monday afternoon when Edmonton travels to Calgary for the annual Labour Day Classic. The Esks hold the historical edge on Labour Day, going 29-26-1 - however, Calgary will be looking for their seventh victory in a row on Labour Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on Monday at McMahon Stadium.

Toronto Argonauts head to Tim Hortons Field looking to win their first Labour Day Classic in the Tiger-Cats’ new stadium. With both teams neck and neck in the East Division the game looms large for both teams. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on Monday night.
