Over 130 Jumpstart kids take to the field with CFL Players and Ottawa Mayor

OTTAWA – On Friday, November 24, over 130 local Jumpstart kids aged 8-14 will participate in a football skills session led by 10 current CFL players at the RA Centre. Upon arrival, the kids will be greeted by Mayor Jim Watson, Jumpstart president Scott Fraser and the Grey Cup. Following a brief discussion about the importance of healthy living, the kids will break out into groups where they will be led through a variety of drills, including learning how to properly throw and catch a football.

The session will last for one hour and will conclude with an autograph and photo session.

WHAT:                        Over 130 Jumpstart kids aged 8- 14 years old will have an experience of a lifetime as they participate in football drills led by CFL players
