ADVISORY/PHOTO OP: OVER 200 JUMPSTART KIDS TAKE TO THE FIELD WITH CFL PLAYERS
EDMONTON, AB – On Friday, November 23, over 200 local Jumpstart kids aged 8-12 will participate in a football skills session led by 10 current CFL players at the Edmonton Soccer Dome. Upon arrival, the kids will be greeted by the Honourable Ricardo Miranda, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mark’s Jumpstart Champion Trevor Kapetz and the Grey Cup. Following a brief chat about the importance of healthy living, the kids will break out into groups where they will be led through a variety of drills, including learning how to properly throw and catch a football along with how to celebrate a touchdown. The session will last for one hour and will conclude with an autograph and photo session.
