Iconic championship trophy arrived in Hamilton via naval escort

HAMILTON (November 13, 2023) – The Grey Cup trophy has arrived in Hamilton for the 110th Grey Cup championship. The league’s ultimate prize traveled onboard His Majesty’s Canadian Ship (HMCS) Harry DeWolf before an official Arrival Ceremony at HMCS Star Naval Reserve Division.

Commander Guillaume Côté of the Royal Canadian Navy & Commander of HMCS Harry DeWolf, CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie, Caretaker Bob Young of the Hamilton Sports Group, Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath City and additional distinguished guests were on-hand to welcome the trophy to the home of this year’s Grey Cup.
