PLAYER DISCIPLINE – WEEK 10

Moore, Fernandez, Jones, Campbell, McManis and Greenwood fined following Week 10 play

TORONTO (August 22, 2019) – The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today:

Edmonton Eskimos defensive lineman Mike Moore was fined for a high hit on Toronto Argonauts quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson.

Ottawa REDBLACKS linebacker Jerod Fernandez was fined for a tourist hit on Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebacker Curtis Newton.

Montreal Alouette players Jarnor Jones and Tommie Campbell, as well as, Calgary Stampeder linebacker Wynton McManis were each fined for their role in the pre-game altercation at McMahon Stadium on Saturday.

Calgary Stampeders linebacker Cory Greenwood was fined for a blindside block on Montreal Alouettes offensive lineman Kristian Matte.

During Week 9, Edmonton Eskimos defensive lineman Nick Usher was fined for a hit to the head of Ottawa REDBLACKS fullback Jean-Christophe Beaulieu.

As per league policy, the amounts of the player fines were not disclosed.
