Ogbongbemiga, Elliott, Finley and Hebert fined following Week 11

TORONTO (September 8, 2016) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today:

Edmonton Eskimo Alex Ogbongbemiga was fined for multiple tourist hits in the game against Calgary last week.

Toronto Argonaut Kevin Elliott was fined for a tourist hit on Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebacker Larry Dean.

Montreal Alouette Jeff Finley was fined for a low hit to Ottawa REDBLACKS quarterback Trevor Harris.

Montreal Alouette Kyries Hebert was fined for a hit to the head of Ottawa REDBLACKS running back Brendan Gillanders.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
