Marino and Salmon fined following Week 11 play
TORONTO (August 24, 2022) – The Canadian Football League (CFL) has announced:
- Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive lineman Garrett Marino has been fined for unnecessary roughness on BC Lions offensive lineman Peter Godber.
- Ottawa REDBLACKS linebacker Shaheed Salmon has been fined for a high hit on Edmonton Elks quarterback Taylor Cornelius.
As per league policy, the amounts of the player fines were not disclosed.
