PLAYER DISCIPLINE – WEEK 3

TORONTO -- The Canadian Football League announced today:
 
Ottawa REDBLACKS defensive lineman Kalonji Kashama was fined for a high hit that involved him lunging with his head into Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Matt Nichols. On the play Kashama was penalized for roughing the passer.

Edmonton Eskimos linebacker Deon Lacey was fined for a dangerous tackle made on Ottawa REDBLACKS receiver Chris Williams. Lacey was penalized on the play for unnecessary roughness.

Toronto Argonauts defensive lineman Cleyon Laing was fined after hitting Calgary Stampeder Pierre Lavertu late and away from the play. Laing was penalized for unnecessary roughness on the play.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive lineman Dominic Picard was fined for unnecessary roughness towards Montreal Alouette Alan-Michael Cash.

Toronto Argonauts defensive back Devin Smith was fined for unnecessary roughness on the final play of the game against the Calgary Stampeders.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
