Eight players fined following Week 4

TORONTO (July 20, 2016) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today:

BC Lion Mic’hael Brooks was fined for a low hit to Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Darian Durant.

Winnipeg Blue Bomber Sukh Chungh was fined for a dangerous block on Edmonton Eskimos defensive lineman Jabari Hunt.

Toronto Argonaut Cory Greenwood was fined for a hit to the head of Ottawa REDBLACKS running back Nic Grigsby.

Toronto Argonaut Shawn Lemon was fined for a low hit to Ottawa REDBLACKS quarterback Trevor Harris.

Saskatchewan Roughrider Jonathan Newsome was fined for a low hit to BC Lions quarterback Jonathon Jennings.

BC Lion Loucheiz Purifoy was fined for a dangerous tackle on Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Ricky Collins Jr.

Toronto Argonaut Keon Raymond was fined for late hit on Ottawa REDBLACKS running back Nic Grigsby.

Saskatchewan Roughrider Josiah St. John was fined for a chop block on BC Lions defensive lineman Mic’hael Brooks.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
