Kyries Hebert handed a maximum fine following Week 8

TORONTO (August 15, 2017) -- The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today:

Following a disciplinary hearing, Montreal Alouettes linebacker Kyries Hebert was handed a maximum fine for a high hit on Toronto Argonauts quarterback Cody Fajardo.

Toronto Argonauts offensive lineman J’Michael Deane was fined for a tourist hit on Montreal Alouettes linebacker Chip Cox.

An additional fine was added from Week 7:

Toronto Argonauts running back James Wilder Jr. was fined for illegally blocking low on a kickoff on Calgary Stampeders defensive lineman Derek Wiggan.

As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
