RANDY AMBROSIE HEADS OUT ON THIRD ANNUAL CROSS-COUNTRY TOUR

‘Randy’s Road Trip’ to provide thousands of fans with the opportunity to address the CFL Commissioner

TORONTO (February 12, 2020) – Canadian Football League (CFL) Commissioner Randy Ambrosie will travel across Canada to meet with fans in every CFL market. ‘Randy’s Road Trip’ will kick off on February 15 in Ottawa and conclude on March 19 in Halifax, marking the Commissioner's third annual trek from coast-to-coast to engage fans in a series of town halls. 

“It’s so important to truly connect with our incredible supporters and take in their feedback,” said Commissioner Ambrosie. “At the heart of the CFL is our fans. I’m excited to continue building our league together with them as we take our great game to new heights.”

Training camps open on May 17 and the CFL regular season kicks off on June 11 with the Edmonton Eskimos hosting the BC Lions at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium. Friday Night Football debuts with a double-header on June 12 with the Toronto Argonauts visiting the Ottawa REDBLACKS before the Montreal Alouettes take on the Calgary Stampeders at McMahon Stadium. The season’s opening week concludes with a Saturday night prime-time rematch of the 107th Grey Cup as the defending champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers travel to Hamilton to face the Tiger-Cats.
