REMINDER: 105TH GREY CUP REMATCH MEDIA CONFERENCE CALL

Members from the Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts will answer questions from the media ahead of the Grey Cup rematch on Saturday night

TORONTO (June 20, 2018) – Just days ahead of the 105th Grey Cup rematch, members of the Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts will be made available to the media in a nationwide conference call today at 4:00 p.m. ET.

In the 105th Grey Cup presented by Shaw, the Toronto Argonauts defeated the Calgary Stampeders 27-24 in Ottawa. Saturday’s game at BMO Field will be the Argonauts’ home opening game and the first-time since that snowy November day the two teams have met. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m. ET.

Calgary’s quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell and reigning Most Outstanding Defensive Player Alex Singleton will be on the callin addition to Toronto’s quarterback Ricky Ray and running back James Wilder Jr.

The Calgary Stampeders will be looking to improve to 2-0 on the season following their Week 1, 28-14 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Argonauts will be looking to defeat Calgary’s Bo Levi Mitchell for the first time in the regular season. Mitchell as a starter owns an 8-0 record against Toronto in the regular season.

Fans attending the game are asked to arrive early to the Argos ‘Shipyard’ at Stanley Barracks where the first 6,000 fans will receive a replica of the Argos’ stunning 2017 Grey Cup Championship ring.
