REMINDER: EDMONTON TO KICKOFF 2016 SEASON PREVIEW TELECONFERENCE SERIES TODAY

Ed Hervey and Jason Maas will be made available to the media to answer questions ahead of the 2016 CFL Season

TORONTO (April 27, 2016) - The 2016 CFL Season Preview Media Teleconference Series will begin today at 1:00 p.m. ET with the Edmonton Eskimos. 

Media are invited to participate in Wednesday’s call with Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager Ed Hervey and Head Coach, Jason Maas.

With the 2016 CFL Draft slated for May 10, rookie camps set to open on May 25 and training camps beginning May 29, the season preview teleconference series is an excellent opportunity for media to receive updates directly from the teams regarding their off-season transactions, training camp storylines, business-related updates and CFL Draft questions.

Below is the entire schedule for the 2016 CFL Season Preview Media Teleconference Series. All calls will take place at 1:00 p.m. ET unless otherwise noted.

April 27: Edmonton Eskimos
April 28: Ottawa REDBLACKS
May 3: BC Lions
May 4: Hamilton Tiger-Cats
May 5: Calgary Stampeders
May 16: Toronto Argonauts
May 17: Winnipeg Blue Bombers
May 24: Montreal Alouettes 11:00 a.m. ET and Saskatchewan Roughriders 1:00 p.m. ET

The CFL regular season kicks off Thursday, June 23rd when the Toronto Argonauts host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at their new home, BMO Field. Friday Night Football debuts June 24th when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the Montreal Alouettes. On June 25th, the Edmonton Eskimos host the Ottawa REDBLACKS, in a rematch of the 103rd Grey Cup, and the Calgary Stampeders visit the BC Lions.
