REMINDER: MEDIA ACCREDITATION OPEN FOR 2019 CANADIAN FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY

Deadline for applications is Thursday, August 8

TORONTO (August 6, 2019) – The Canadian Football League (CFL) is accepting requests for media accreditation for the Canadian Football Hall of Fame (CFHOF) Induction Ceremony. The 2019 Class will be inducted on Friday, August 9 at the CFHOF and Museum, located on the fourth level of Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton.

Jon Cornish, Mervyn Fernandez, Terry Greer, Ernie Pitts (posthumous) and David Williams will be inducted in the Player category, while former Saskatchewan club president Jim Hopson and legendary University of British Columbia coach Frank Smith will join the Builder category.

Media members interested in covering the 2019 CFHOF Induction Ceremony are invited to email Lucas Barrett at lbarrett@cfl.ca by no later than 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 8.
