SEASON’S BRIGHTEST STARS TO BE RECOGNIZED AT 2023 CFL AWARDS
Players and league personnel to be honoured ahead of 110th Grey Cup
HAMILTON (November 15, 2023) – Media members are invited to the 2023 Canadian Football League (CFL) Awards on Thursday, November 16 at the Avalon Theatre at Fallsview Casino & Resort. Hosted by the CFL ON TSN’s Kate Beirness and Canadian comedian K. Trevor Wilson, with a special guest appearance by two-time GRAMMY award winner Shaggy, the evening ceremony will recognize players, head coaches and personnel from across the league.
In addition to the player awards, the recipients of the Commissioner’s Award, the Hugh Campbell Distinguished Leadership Award, the Jake Gaudaur Veterans’ Award, the Tom Pate Memorial Award, and the Jane Mawby Tribute Award will be named. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Doors to the media lockdown room will open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Media members in attendance will be provided the results of the 2022 CFL Awards under strict embargo. Following each award presentation, recipients will be made available to media. The ceremony will be streamed live on CFL.ca/Live.
