TEAM ARRIVALS FOR THE 104th GREY CUP PRESENTED BY SHAW

Media invited to cover the arrival of the Calgary Stampeders and Ottawa REDBLACKS arriving in Toronto at Landmark Aviation on Tuesday

TORONTO – For the third time in league history, Calgary and Ottawa will meet in the CFL’s championship game. The previous Grey Cup appearances against each other were in 1948 and 1968 with Calgary winning the first game 12-7 and Ottawa winning the second contest 24-21.

Media are welcome to attend the arrival of both teams as they touch down in Toronto on Tuesday. There will be a photo opportunity as players walk onto the tarmac, and a media scrum will take place inside the airport lounge with both Head Coaches and select players.

Arrival Details:

  • The Ottawa REDBLACKS will arrive at the Landmark Aviation on Tuesday November 22, on charter flight #9020 at approximately 3:05pm ET.
  • The Calgary Stampeders will arrive at the Landmark Aviation on Tuesday November 22, on charter flight #9080 at approximately 6:45pm ET.

Note: Landmark Aviation is located at the Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Due to security requirements at the airport, media are required to RSVP their attendance. Please email Lucas Barrett (lbarrett@cfl.cabefore noon ET on Tuesday, November 22, to ensure proper permission is granted by the airport.

The 104th Grey Cup presented by Shaw featuring the Calgary Stampeders versus the Ottawa REDBLACKS will be played on Sunday, November 27 at BMO Field in Toronto.
 
The Ottawa REDBLACKS will be the “home” team in the 104th Grey Cup presented by Shaw. They will wear their home uniforms (black jersey, black pants) and will use the Toronto Argonauts’ locker room at BMO Field. The Calgary Stampeders will be the visitors, wearing their road uniforms (white jersey, red pants); they will use the visiting teams’ locker room at BMO Field.
