TICKETS NOW ON-SALE FOR 2019 GREY CUP FESTIVAL PRESENTED BY SHAW

CALGARY (September 5, 2019) – The 2019 Grey Cup Festival presented by Shaw is set to kick-off on the evening of Wednesday, November 20 and will run through to Saturday, November 23, at the world-famous Stampede Park.

“We are thrilled to announce that several ticketed events for the Grey Cup Festival are now on-sale,” said Mike Franco, Chair of the 2019 Grey Cup Festival. “Our team has been working really hard to ensure we put on a first-class event that will make Calgarians proud.

“We’ve got a fantastic entertainment lineup with all the popular events returning, but we have also added a few new ones this year including the first-ever Grey Cup Rodeo. From Canadian indie icons to young country stars and everything in-between, there really is something for fans of all ages.”

The Canadian Tire CFL Alumni Association Legends Luncheon will be held on Friday, November 22 at the Big Four Roadhouse. Always a fan favourite, this is the chance to rub shoulders with CFL alumni and listen as they share incredible stories from the gridiron.

Hosted by actor, comedian and sports personality Gerry Dee, the Alberta Blue Cross Grey Cup Gala Dinner is a highlight of Grey Cup week. Taking place on Friday, November 22 at Scotiabank Saddledome, this will be an amazing evening of delicious food and fine wine with fabulous live entertainment featuring the extraordinary Jim Cuddy.

Cheer Extravaganza on Saturday, November 23 at Scotiabank Saddledome will bring together cheer and dance teams from across the league to perform their choreographed routines with some added flair! Expect some serious acrobatic skill during this showcase of stunts, tumbling and dance.

The Stampede Corral is going to get wild on Saturday, November 23 when the first-ever Grey Cup Rodeo comes to town! An action-packed evening will feature cowboys and cowgirls representing each team across the CFL while competing in bareback, saddle bronc, barrel racing and bull riding. As an added bonus, two cowboys representing the teams vying for the Grey Cup will showcase their skill and agility in the extreme sport of Bull Freestyle.

The SiriusXM Saturday Night Concert presented by Coors Light is one of the BIGGEST parties of Grey Cup Festival. Platinum-selling Canadian band ‘Our Lady Peace’ will be joined by alt-rock stars ‘I Mother Earth and the chart-topping ‘Dear Rouge’ for an amazing evening of great music and entertainment!

The red carpet will be rolled out for the Shaw CFL Awards on Thursday, November 21 at Scotiabank Saddledome. More information on the Shaw CFL Awards and the official tailgate parties at McMahon Stadium will be coming soon.
