113th Grey Cup playoff scenarios for the upcoming week
TORONTO (September 23, 2026) – The following scenarios are in play this week.
EAST DIVISION
- CGY WIN + HAM LOSS = HAM eliminated from playoff contention; crossover confirmed.
- WPG WIN + BC WIN + HAM LOSS = HAM eliminated from playoff contention; crossover confirmed.
WEST DIVISION
- WPG LOSS + SSK WIN + CGY LOSS = SSK clinches playoff berth.
ROAD TO THE 113TH GREY CUP
- Week 14: MTL secured a postseason berth and the right to host a playoff game.
- Week 15: EDM secured a postseason berth.
- Week 16: TOR secured a postseason berth and the right to host a playoff game.
CROSSOVER RULE
If the fourth-place team in Division A – A4 – has more points than the third-place team in Division B – B3 (they cannot be tied), A4 will cross over and take the place of B3 in terms of playoff seeding. A4 will then compete against B2 in the Division B Semi-final.
