WESTERN REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY NEW ERA TAKES PLACE MONDAY IN EDMONTON

The first of three Regional Combines takes place at Commonwealth Field House

TORONTO (March 7, 2019) – Canadian Football League (CFL) prospects for the 2019 CFL Draft will have their final opportunity to receive an invite to the CFL Combine presented by New Era. For the seventh consecutive year the CFL will host a trio of Regional Combines ahead of the CFL Combine in Toronto. Following the Western Regional Combine in Edmonton on March 11th, Montreal will host the Eastern Regional Combine on March 13th and the final Regional Combine will take place in Toronto on March 21st.

The CFL Combine presented by New Era will take place in Toronto from March 22 – 24. This is where the top prospects will test and compete in front of CFL coaches, general manager and player personnel in advance to the 2019 CFL Draft on May 2.

COMMONWEALTH FIELD HOUSE

Order of testing: OL, DL, RB, LB, QB, K, WR, DB

9:00 a.m.          Begin Circuit: Height & weight, hand & arm measurements, video shot, vertical jump, broad jump, and bench press (225 lbs.)

11:00 a.m.        40-yard dash, short shuttle, 3-cone drill

1:30 p.m.          Positional drills and one-on-ones

3:50 p.m.          Announcement of players invited to CFL Combine presented by New Era

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.
