Governors representing the CFL’s nine member clubs voted in June to return to play after a hiatus forced by the COVID-19 pandemic. The first game of the new season on August 5th is a rematch of the 107th Grey Cup, featuring the defending champion Winnipeg Blue Bombers hosting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. It will be the first CFL game since November 2019.
