WINTER SCOUTING BUREAU: PROSPECT AVAILABILITY
No. 2 Jalen Philpot, No. 5 Tyson Philpot and No. 7 Deionte Knight available to the media
TORONTO – Media members are invited to join a virtual media availability with three of the Top-10 prospects identified in the Canadian Football League (CFL)’s Winter Scouting Bureau.
Taking part will be Delta, B.C., natives, No. 2 Jalen Philpot and his twin brother, No. 5 Tyson, who are the highest-ranked U SPORTS prospects. The pair of wide receivers from the Calgary Dinos will be joined by No. 7 Deionte Knight from Ajax, Ont. The defensive lineman out of Western had the highest debut among prospects who were not identified in last fall’s prospect rankings.
The CFL Scouting Bureau, comprising player personnel directors and general managers from the league’s nine clubs, as well as CFL scouts, releases its prospect rankings in fall, winter and spring editions each year in anticipation of the CFL Draft.
