WITH THE FIRST SELECTION IN THE 2021 CFL DRAFT HAMILTON SELECTS JAKE BURT

TORONTO (May 4, 2021) – With the first selection in the 2021 Canadian Football League (CFL) Draft, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats selected Jake Burt from Boston College.

    • Third straight year taking an NCAA defensive player with their first-round pick.
  • Nick Cross becomes the second UBC first round pick in last four years. NONE before that for UBC back to 2008.
