ONTARIO REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY ADIDAS THIS FRIDAY IN TORONTO

Ontario’s Regional Combine is Friday at the Varsity Centre and the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport

TORONTO – Ontario Canadian Football League prospects for the 2017 CFL Draft will have their final opportunity to receive an invite to the CFL Combine presented by adidas. Following the Eastern Regional Combine last Friday in Montreal, Toronto hosts the Ontario Regional Combine on March 17. Regina will host the Western Regional Combine on March 23 to complete five consecutive years of regional combines ahead of the national CFL Combine presented by Adidas.

Five players from the Eastern Regional Combine were invited to the National Combine last week in Montreal.

The CFL Combine presented by adidas will take place in Regina as part of the Mark’s CFL Week festivities with the top prospects testing and competing in front of CFL coaches, general managers and player personnel between March 23 and 25.

CFL.ca will have results from Friday’s regional combine as well as an article previewing five prospects to follow.

SCHEDULE: ONTARIO REGIONAL COMBINE PRESENTED BY ADIDAS

FRIDAY, MARCH 17 – GOLDRING CENTRE FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE SPORT & VARSITY CENTRE

Order of testing: OL, DL, RB, LB, K, WR, DB

9:00 a.m.                    Player registration at the Goldring Centre

9:30 a.m.                    Height & weight, hand & arm measurements, vertical jump and bench press (225 lbs.)

12:35 p.m.                  Warm up at Varsity Centre bubble

12:50 p.m.                   40-yard dash, short shuttle, three-cone drill and broad jump

2:30 p.m.                    Positional drills and one-on-ones

                                                2:30 p.m. – OL/DL drills

                                                2:55 p.m. – RB/LB drills

                                                3:35 p.m. – WR/DB drills

                                                4:25 p.m. – Long snappers/punters/kickers

4:40 p.m.                     Announcement of players invited to CFL Combine presented by adidas

 

Players will be made available by request after the completion of all testing.
